24V/16W LED Panel

Description

This LED panel was design as part of integrated lighting fixture in ceiling fan product.

It has an integrated IR receiver circuit that powered from the same supply to LED module to reduce wire count. The LEDs off state was achieved by regulating the voltage below the VF to turn off the LED, hence keeping the voltage supply needed by IR receive circuit available at all time.

Due to aesthetic requirement of the product design, distance to diffuser lens was short (<15mm). High LED count was required to achieve even light spread, at the same time, they were able to be driven at low current of 65mA. The light efficacy was improved slightly as an side-effect due to less increase of VF at lower LED drive current.

  • LED Configuration: 8-series 10-parallel, total 80 LEDs
