High-Voltage 35W 3-Phase PMSM Sensorless FOC Drive

Description

Design derivative of 35W PMSM 3-Phase Motor Drive + Integrated LED Driver with Passive PFC.

As the support for LED lighting was not required for this project, the voltage doubler rectifier passive PFC circuit was removed and a simpler buck converter using ST VIPER16 off-line converter was used to supply low voltage to the system.

Heat of STGIPN3H60 IPM is dissipated to an aluminum back-plate using Sil-pad.

Final PCBA size is 108 x 79.6 x 23.1mm1.
